Friends

Friends!!

We have them in all ages of all types of all sizes of all heights and of all nature.
In School, I remember everyone had a "best friend", but I didn’t. And somehow was happy about it.

I never knew why to have a best friend. In high school, everyone knew me, but my friends circle was small. I never had any secret to share, so i guess even at that age did not have a best friend.

It was the time for scrap books, where one common question was to name your Best Friend. And I would mention one of my friends’ names whom i thought was good. The funda of "Best Friend" still did not make sense to me.
I came to college and there happen to meet this girl - Sharika...so much like me.. guess thats the reason we got along so well. She was down to earth and never boasted or showed off anything though she had all the reasons to do so. That was the age when teenaged girls express to their friends about those cute looks, those crushes and all about boys.

She is the one who knew about all my crushes, my stupidities and all that I was into. I shared everything with her trusting her fully and knowing it wouldn’t be known to anyone outside. 5 years of college spent in all different things... She got married once we had completed our graduation. Then it was like I lost her..........

But no one to match Sharika even during post-graduation.

2 years later got a job in a new city - Mumbai. I hardly knew anyone here. Just my brother. Office was the only thing to look forward. Being an introvert it took time for me to make friends.

A month after joined few new people. In that lot came my 2 friends...  Shraddha Inde and Prasad Mohare

Life was a lot different then with these 2 around. I knew they were there for me in every thing I did.

All of them had their future better halfs with them... but inspite of that they were there for me. It was fun especially our lunch times with all naughty friends and our tp times. I miss those days and i miss these 2...

Now all busy with their own lives but yes in touch with me.

I just happened to catch Sharika on FB............. Thanks FB for allowing me to meet this long lost friend of mine.

A bit about each one of them:
Shraddha : . A beautiful and sweet person.  She has been a strong inspiration for me. I get motivated seeing the different things she does. Wonder where she gets all the time and energy from. Wish I could match up to her - a lazy person like me  ;).
Creativity can be seen in everything she does.... I remember those diwali gifts we exchanged... how I miss those days where we looked forward to .

Prasad: a nice, self made person...a workaholic i must say....... all he sees is work and sometimes - just sometimes his friends.... But he has reached heights all by himself.  I remember those lunches we had at Sai Ganesh and yes one bike ride...where I fell off his bike...it makes me laugh .........what  a dumbo i was and he used to tease me about it for a long time.

Today i.e. 2-april 2013, I got to see Shraddha’s  blogspot and its mind blowing. Lots of will power and strong motivation is what describes her.
21-apr
Waiting to catch up with these 3.. I know I can get to meet the two S’s but Mr. P……… its impossible.

More to go with these 3..........
